What a wonderful weekend celebrating wine growing in Fauquier County. Over 250 years ago, Sir Francis Fauquier successfully cultivated a vineyard of European vines in Virginia. We were so excited to be apart of this unique event – which included a flag ceremony, pig roast & wine tastings. If you missed it this year, plan to join us next year!
February will be a busy month! We will be joining winemakers across Fauquier County at the Annual Fauquier Tournante on February 4th. We will be offering a Library Cellar Tasting this month by popular demand on the 5th. Plan to celebrate your loved one with us at our Valentine’s event on the 11th or treat your loved one to a unique Cabernet Franc Vertical tasting on the 12th. No month would be the same without our Live Music Sundays February 19th, where you & your friends can take in the Virginia Wine Country from our covered patio while enjoying a live band & great wine! Chateau O’Brien will be participating in the Fauquier County wine competition on the 26th. And finally, we have an unique event called United by Wine – a wine comparison of our wines with another country on the 26th.
