The grape varietal is the first to be grown and bottled in Virginia and the US. A cross between Tannat & Cabernet Sauvignon. We discovered this grape varietal during one of our many visits to Uruguay several years ago. My good friend Anibal Paz introduced me to this grape. Very limited production! Aged 24 months in French Oak Barrels!
